The year 1996 came and with it my first computer appeared and internet using a telephone modem - big as a brick. Oh yes, I'm old! Honestly, I miss those days when websites were simple and light as a feather. The days when privacy didn't matter because it was something obvious and natural, before big corporations obliterated our dreams of freedom and governments enacted laws that reduced the concepts of freedom and privacy to mere slogans in our history. Never mind! One day, sitting at the computer unsure of what to do next, I began exploring this new world. My interest in technology was born. Who would I be if that moment had never happened? I don't know, but from that small spark, other related moments emerged, shaping my personality alongside countless others. Likely, without that initial curiosity—and all the others it sparked - this small website wouldn’t exist.

I think it's important when and where something is made. The project "nibblespot" was created a very long time ago in my head. The main motivation was to convey a simple yet important message: everyone deserves a bit of privacy, which is why I chose to use GrapheneOS. It's worth mentioning here that this is an excellent piece of work.

I currently maintain the entire project by myself. To support its continued development, I have added a donation page, knowing that it might not receive much use initially. However, every little contribution would greatly assist in advancing the project further.

The infrastructure is spread across more than 50 virtual servers with various configurations tailored to specific applications. Additionally, I utilize storage solutions compatible with Amazon S3 and manage a significant number of domains. I often use my homelab before something goes live. Unfortunately, my home internet connection does not allow me to provide services on a larger scale. Anyway, I loved my little homelab. Since I can test various project components before deploying them in the target server environment.
